The Mini GP1 was built in 2006 with numbers limited to 2000 worldwide and only 500 to the UK market. The Mini GP1 was very quickly recognized as a modern classic with every one sold before they were even released. This model was a far cry from a standard Cooper S, with everything designed towards producing a special driver focused car. The Alloys were designed not only to be lighter, but to allow additional air to be channelled in to cool the brakes, the cars weight was shaved by 50 Kg, strut braces were fitted to stiffen the chassis, and the engine now benefitted from an uplift in power to 218 BHP. The sum of all of these and other little tweaks and refinements added up to an astonishing change producing a truly epic car that looked completely different to standard JCW minis and drove spectacularly.

The current owner has owned this car for the past 7 years driving it very sparingly, dry storing it and keeping it regularly serviced, the end result is a beautifully tidy, super low mileage unmarked original vehicle. These cars are now becoming rarer and rarer and it is almost impossible to imagine finding another that has been so loved and with such low mileage. The car also benefits from a millteck cat and back exhaust that bolts on and off making a phenomenal sound that only adds to the visceral driving experience!! This car also comes with an indoor car cover sold by mini made specifically for the GP1 and again these are extremely hard to source.

This is a very desirable, rare and beautifully presented little beastie, benefitting from an impeccable history, and being presented in mint condition. An appreciating classic.
